Alpine Creek Lodge
Alpine Creek Lodge is located at mile 68 on the highway, so pretty much halfway between Paxson (68 miles) and Cantwell (67 miles).
Rooms
2,3 and 4 bed rooms on the second floor in the main cabin, all located around a nice main lounge area with sofas, free wifi and satellite tv.
Free wifi is available throughout the lodge.
Shared private bathrooms and showers right next to all rooms.
Restaurant
Breakfast Eggs, bacon and bread
Lunch Daily special (cheeseburger, sandwich etc.)
Dinner Daily special (Lasagne, roast etc.)
Winter & snowmachines
There is something special about Alaska and snowmachines, they are great winter tools but they are also great fun and amazing machines to enjoy the vast area and mountains around the Alpine Creek Lodge. There is epic snow for months but it’s also a popular destination because of the location, so make sure you book rooms well ahead of your trip.
If you are not into mountain sledding then there are plenty of opportunity for a nice day on the ice fishing.
Alpine Creek Lodge is open all year.
Lodge hike and tours
The Alpine Creek trail is just behind the lodge and takes you up to the Alpine Lake. Gold panning is available at the mouth of the creek right where the trail starts.
There a lots of tours available from the lodge, gold panning, fly and spin fishing, jeep excursions, bird watching, snow machine, biking and horse riding but make sure you contact the lodge at least one day in advance to check on availability.

Relax and enjoy the view over the vally with a nice cold beer or something from our selection of fine whiskey after a good day of activities .
